Meat loaf, fondue, raclette et cetera

The pub is a hub for rustic, hearty delights. Whenever something good from anywhere in the Lake Zurich region can be shipped and brought here, it ends up on our menu. Poussin from Wädenswil, wine from Erlenbach, fish from the lake or salad and vegetables from the Bürkliplatz farmers’ market. The wonderful alpine cheese for fondue and raclette comes to us from a little farther away. But the trip it makes is also worthwhile for our guests. Here the raclette is melted directly over the wood fireplace and served up hot. By the way, when it’s sunny and warm outside, the pub moves outdoors to the Mönchhof am See. And when a summer storm passes through, the Mönchhof am See moves indoors to the pub.

The pub also includes the wonderful, almost enchanted, winter garden. It’s the perfect location in spring and autumn for larger groups, a meal or a small party.
